Job Description:
Plan, organize and implement the Sunday morning Praise and Celebration Service. Plan, organize and implement with the other members of staff, the integration of this Praise and Celebration Service into the regular Sunday morning worship schedule. Be present on Sunday mornings to direct and lead the Praise and Celebration Service.
The successful candidate will have experience in the field of contemporary Christian music. Prepare and rehearse the praise band, Copper Coins, for each week's Praise and Celebration Service. Have the confidence and experience in leading singing, prayer and giving leadership in front of an assembled gatthering. Will have above average computer skills and the ability to use the internet in order to research, find and download contemporary Christian music, backgrounds and other materials for use in the Praise and Celebration Service. Have experience and above average skill in putting together power-point presentations for use at each Praise and Celebration Service. Possess good all-around communication and organizational skills and be able to meet all deadlines in a timely manner. He or she will also be proficient in piano and/or keyboard. Playing another instrument would also be helpful.
