(Available in August) Director of Worship
We are a non-denominational Evangelical Church founded over 50 years ago. RCC has a rich heritage of (biblically correct) music excellence with a clear objective: to glorify GOD / know Him / and make Him known. We average around 700 people at our 9:00am Sunday service (there is also a 6:00pm casual service).
The commitment would be:
1) Planning liturgy with a wide (hymns to contemporary) variety yet critical to content.
2) Direct rehearsal Wednesday nights 6:45 to 9:00pm
3) Direct Music for at least the Sunday AM service (PM is currently being handled)
Requirements:
1) A Christian who is passionate about carefully leading worship with excellence.
2) A pastor's heart
3) BS or higher degree in Music or related education
4) Some past experience directing a choir and band (currently 80 vocalists and musicians)
5) Energetic / Servant / Humble Leader are attributes that would fit well.
Compensation is commensurate to experience but above scale. All levels of experience will be considered.
